Hi,

I'm trying to make a submenu which looks the same as the menu on our website (www.vandenbosch.com)

Only i've got a problem under IE, i'm using padding left and right in the css sheet. Only in IE looks like the pretty strange (under Firefox is everything perfect).

The root of the menu look also great in IE only the submenu not. When i'm using padding-left: 7px it more looks like 14px (i'm using it only in the .submenu1bar css). Whe i'm using a background image (with a arrow) i see 3 time this image (its 500 wide).

Does anyone knows a solution to solve my problem?

Nick,

This is a known issue in Internet Explorer (although not considered an issue by the developers of Internet Explorer).  There are several articles around the web which treat this subject (searchable by "internet explorer double padding").  I've linked a couple of those below:

Hope that helps resolve the issue.
