Hi There,

Just downloaded the SW.Text module. Looks perfect for what I want. Installation went fine with no errors, however when I try to add the module to a page, I get the following error.

"A critical error has occurred.
Could not load file or assembly 'SW.DotNetNuke, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

My DNN Version is: 4.09.05

Any help appreciated!

Hello,

OK, not sure how, but it's now displaying without error, but there is a new problem.

I have set it to deny access to the module to everybody except registered users. I then wrote some content and assigned it to the Registered users role. The idea being when a registered user that is not a member views the page, they see a message that they must join. People that HAVE joined will be in one of the denied roles thus wont see the request to join.

Now I loaded the page with a test user, who was registered but not in the Membership role. The module displayed fine. When I added the user to the Membership role, the module is still showing??

Any help appreciated.

Marc,

For the sake of helping you if you can screenshot the settings in terms of how your content is shown (ie., the order in which content is shown to the roles) and the View settings for the module itself and then the roles each of your test users have I can help identify where the problem lies.

As for the previous post -- SW.Text requires SW.Common to be installed; I'm guessing you installed it after installing SW.Text and running into the error?

Thanks,

Jon

OK, looks like it's a cache problem. After about a minute, it updates :D
